Mia's Bayeux Fantasy Colouring Book is a craft & colouring book with 50 images, inspired by The Bayeux Tapestry. The accompanying musing tells an alternative version of the run-up to the Battle of Hastings in 1066. Of course, we also have a look at the battle, or my version of it.
We follow the events of animals, commoners and royals, some of which don't behave as expected. We meet some of the well-known characters, such as King Edward, Harold Godwinson and William of Normandy. There are also horses, birds, dragons and other winged beasts. Finally, Bennie the Rat travels from Normandy to England on William's ship.
This book is laced with humour and due to the somewhat fantastical nature of both the tale and the images, this book is aimed at adults.
